Science City 2024

The office of Societal Impact is pleased to co-host Science City at the Tucson Festival of Books, a setting of thematic neighborhoods and stages spanning the exciting worlds of science, technology, the natural world and you! Visitors will experience the connection between our daily lives and advances in science and technology, as well as learn about the ground-breaking research being conducted right here at the UA.

Science City "participants" are comprised of local organizations, UA researchers, and national STEM organizations. All participants provide hands-on activities for festival goers to engage with a range of topics.

Open Houses and Tours are hosted directly on the UArizona campus to allow festival goers a behind-the-scenes peek at research facilities and museum collections.
